Default Delsol VTI B16a2 Distributor fault ?

Hi everyone,

Since i had a brake down from the distributor issue (start come one but the engine would not go)
I've change on it :
-4 candles from Denso IK20 to normal NGK Resistif 7 in temperature (common candle on these engine).
-Head cup (tête de delco)
-Ignition Finger (doigt d'allumage)
-Coil by a Megnetti Marelli (bobine)
-electronic part ignition system (module d'allumage)
-The full cable with 3 magnet
-The spy joint (joint spy) and the outside joint (O ring)

The car is running fine, when is cold (but the Vtec doesn't work).
And when it's hot it's running badly like if it was dancing on 3 cylinder.
the ignition cable a recent a big size (8mm).

When i trouble shoot the code i have code 9 and code 22.
I've tried to reset it but impossible.

I've just order for a new full distributor maybe it would solve the problem but it's sad because everything is new on the Honda one.
If someone have a clue for me it would be very helpfull.

thanks

PS : my distributor is a TD 44u

Clock your distributor more towards the firewall. Or the timing is off by a few teeth.

Thanks for your reply.
I've open the updeck from the engine, i know the 2 AAC (came shaft) are correct (same same). Didn't looked at the same time one the crankshaft (villebrequin) if it was ok.
I will try for back clock direction the firewall with the distributor and give you the feed back. (sorry for my english).

Hello, fresh news.
I've finally order a full new distributor on the US market, that's why it takes me time to make an answer.
So the result is :
First i've made a cold ECU reset (10min running without touching anything).
Then recheck ; and still code 9 and 22.
Then i've drove it a few kilometers (or miles if you prefer), the engine was running fine temperature ok, fan do he's work when it should.
BUT no Vtec ! :/
I've came back at my parking lot. Shot down the engine, put out the ECU fuse for 40sec, (it's says 10s on the Chilton book).
And a warm ECU reset (10min running without touching anything).
Then recheck, and still code 9 and 22.

I'm a bit desapointed. The NGK candle are new (change after the problem appeard).

If someone could give me a clew it would be nice.
And i've also test the rotation of the distibutor but no insidence.

Problem solved,

Just had to adjust the timing from the new distributor, vtec is back the engine running ok.
Made the adjustment with the stombo light.
The 2 codes have been ereased by themeselves.

The only question is, what was the problem with my original distributor ?
