Opinions on the value of this 1990 CRX DX 202k miles
The owner has the price listed as 2000 but I think that's too high considering its poor cosmetic condition. It does run and drive and the owner told me the underside does not have rust and the only place they can find any is the quarter panel shown in pics. What do you all think its worth is as these are hard to find now, especially if it is mostly rust-free. If I bought it I would keep it stock and spruce/clean it up but not totally restore it and use it as a fun weekend car.
*The year stated in the listing is a typo I believe as the car is actually 1990 based on license plate registration.

Yuck... + it's an auto... Maybe $500-$800. For reference, I bought a 90 Civic Hatch DX with brand new 15x7 Rpf01 and Progress CSII coilovers for $2200 in expensive CA. And while it was filthy, this car has one of the straightest and rust free bodies I have seen along with a really clean interior with some SI bits (Seats, steering wheel). That was 1.5 years ago so take the rate of inflation into account. Keep shopping. That car is gross.
It will cost minimum $5000 to fix everything and paint it, then odds are it's going to rot out again due to the repairs. Take that extra money you will spend on fixing it and find one in another part of the country.
I'm never a fan of hondas with rust repairs done, the rust always comes back.

unless you get it for $500 or less i wouldn’t even hint at the idea of getting it. all the hard to find parts are pretty much destroyed on that one.
