Hope you are all well and safe. This morning I got motivated and finally decided to swap out the headlights. Seemed easy enough to pull the bumper. The only electrical changes I made were to use LED for high beam and LED for turn signal. Somehow the parking light fuse blew. After starting the car dash looked like an Xmas tree. OBD scan comes up P1659. I put back all the original bulbs. Disconnected the battery and same code. Well I'm pretty good at figuring things out. Two weeks back of course I'm in a suit heading to work and the dash lights up like an Xmas tree. The car felt like it down shifted. Smelled gas, loss of power. Figured bad coil. Stopped at autozone for the scan tool. #1 Ing coil bad. Shot over to Honda. Wasn't even late for work. Any thoughts on a fix would be awesome as this has me baffled. DTC P1659:Electronic Throttle Control System (ETCS) Control Relay OFF Malfunction

You may have blown the ETCS fuse. Check under-hood Fuse No. A18 (15A).

 

A18 is coming up DBW?

 

Yes, same fuse.

 

Thanks and progress being made. The fuse was blown. How the heck that happened. My DTR lights and power seems to be back. Chk engine is off. However, ABS and traction light is on. Any thoughts and thanks.

 

For the ABS and Traction control light, get the car scanned for ABS/VSA trouble code(s). Not all code readers are capable of reading Honda ABS/VSA trouble codes.
