ECU 37820-PM5-A59 for Honda Civic DX?
I have a 1991 honda civic dx that I believe needs another ecu. The part number that came out of my civic is 37820-PM5-L80. One used ecu on ebay that has the part number 37820-PM5-A59 is $20 and free shipping and free returns. If I were to get a used one ending in L80 on ebay, the cheapest it would be would be about $9.60 more and free shipping and free returns (or for a cheaper L80 where I would pay return shipping, $8 more). According to research, I believe that A means made in the USA and the 5 means automatic transmission, so A59 means american made automatic transmission, right? And since the middle digits are PM5, that means I would think it would think it came out of the 1991 honda civic dx. But even then, what would L80 on my ECU mean then?
Do you think it's safe to get 37820-PM5-A59 for my 1991 honda civic dx?
Should I just stick with 37820-PM5-L80? What does L80 mean?
What else do I need to know?
All help, tips, advice, and answers is much appreciated.

I would suggest you splurge and spend the extra $9 and get the ECU that matches the one you currently have. I cannot tell you what the L80 stands for, but if your car ran fine before your current issues began, another ECU just like what you had would be an excellent choice.
