yesterday i was prepping my garage to paint my del sol but two bad things happened that actually turned out to be good things. first i splashed oil/gas mix on my del sol that i had already prepped for paint, THEN backing it out blinded by the mask paper on the windows i ran into my truck. so i get out to look at my screw-up. fortunately only my bumper cover hit my truck's front bumper so drove forward and then the bumper cover caught on my truck bumper and ripped it off of my car ! at first i was angry but then noticed that the bumper cover bracket was totally rusted and needed to be replaced so amazingly this turned out to be a good thing. Then i started to remove the gas oil mix splatter and noticed under the sheen of the solvent that there were a lot of sanding marks on the hood and likely over the entire car so I need to sand it again before paint. so all is well... EXCEPT : WHERE CAN I BUY ANOTHER REAR BUMPER COVER BRACKET? nothing on Ebay... are they unique to the del sol or will a 95 civic bumper bracket work?
