Default Civic 94 ECU p29 Help

hello i have a honda civic 94 EX with motor D16A9 and the ECU ODB1 p29 (37820-P29-I00-770-104526) is bad, i try to find this ECU but i had no luck, my question is if is posible to use another ODB1 ecu that is compatible ( ex. p28, p06 ) that will make the engine work fine with no problems.
and thank you for your help.

Those questions are challenging to answer. There isn't a lot of information regarding foreign ECU's and Engines.

One thing you will need to be wary of when trying other country ECU's is whether or not you have an Electronic Load Detector or not. Some countries did and some did not. The ECU will either want one or not depending.

You would have to use a modified obd1 ecu (p28, p06 or p75) with the stock p29 map programmed to it.
