Default Hatchback and sedan upper control arms

Is there a difference between the hatchback and sedan upper control arms. I'm asking because I've got a loose uca balljoint on the right side which needs to be fixed before getting alignment and I'm only able to find an uca from a sedan. Also should I replace both sides or is that not necessary/no need for alignment after replacing?

same.

earlier EF's had a welded balljoint in the upper arms, later arms had a circlip that made it replaceable using aftermarket balljoints.

its obvious if you just look if its welded. the welded joints are also a bit taller, reducing clearance, fwiw.
