Default D16z6 piston ring gap for boost

I've read a bunch of information about piston ring gaps for boosting and settled on .18 for top ring and .20 for bottom ring. My issue is i bought Hasting piston rings and was shocked that the top rings were .20 right out of the box without grinding them down. I even called Hasting to see if it was a mistake but the only quality control the rings from .10-.20 range. So should I just work with the top ring gap at .20 and then gap the 2nd rings to .21/ .22? or just order another box and hope that i can get to the gap tightness that I want??

.020" on the top ring will be fine. Go to .022" on the second ring and run some boost. You will be just fine.
