Default Is a J Series question ok?

Just wondering if this is the right place/board to discuss J series questions. I'm new to the forum.

We don't see J series builds or questions nearly as often as some others, but I'm sure there's people here with experience.

I'm not sure if there's a dedicated J series forum, similar to what the K series has with k20a.org

It's a little dated, but works fine.

Little late to the party.... What kind of information are you looking for? There are a few of us on here every now and then that have some experience with the J series.

I had a concern over the placement of the crank sensor. It seems like there was a change in the installation location from 2009 to 2010. Having never built this motor (from scratch) I couldn't be sure it didn't have two of these sensors given the information available. I realize two crank sensors is unlikely but that doesn't mean it's impossible. At this point I feel pretty confident the sensor is installed next to the crank gear on the timing side of the motor in 2009 and then at a location on the oil pan in 2010. Does that sound accurate?

Thank you for replying.

Since your other thread was regarding the engine in a Ridgeline, the location of the CKP sensor for a 2009 vs 2010 is identical. Honda part no.37500-R40-A01.

It is right behind the CKP sensor cover in this photo.
