Default EG Jdm b18c thermostat housing coolant line location?

Picked up a 95 civic hatch with jdm gsr b18c. Swap has a thermostat with 3 inlets as circled in blue, and 1 outlet on the IM circled in blue. The swap has an existing tube on the thermostat housing in red(left tube) that is capped off. B18C1 diagrams show this tube from the thermostat housing connects to the oulet above the upper radiator hose, but instead the outlet above the upper radiator hose is connected to the FITV as shown in the light blue line (due to the IM only having 1 outlet and being used as shown in the dark blue line).

Will this capped tube on the thermostat need to be connected to anything? Shouldn't my intake manifold have 2 outlets for coolant? It's a p72 IM.
