Im looking into sleeving my h22a closed deck block but im looking for advise on what pistons and cr i should run?

 

What are your power goals? What fuel are you using? What turbo will you use? What is the car being used for?

Why do I bother?

 

Daily driver occasional track 350 hp. I know im going to have to sleeve my block.

 

The sleeves themselves would actually be 100% fine at that level, but I'm guessing your issue is the FRM walls and limited piston options. I've never used Mahle's FRM pistons as I've consistently heard they don't hold up well over time, something about the skirt coating coming off I believe. Not sure if someone here may have first hand experience.

Assuming 91/93 octane, personally I'd go for anything 10:1 -> 10.5:1
