2009 Civic Type r FN2
Hey guys,
Im in the market for a 2009 Civic type R. I currently own a Nissan 350z and love it, except I need more space to be able to take two relatively large dogs. Now Ive always been a Honda fan (my dad drove Hondas since I was a baby) Ive checked out a Fn2 type R this week with 171.000km, the car seemed pretty good with some things here and there like blemages, paint chips, driver mirror motor INOP etc.
Engine seems to crank well (seemed like aSLIGHT hesitation)
Now I've heard before that when you start the engine and take off the oil cap you shouldnt feel too much air pushing out. Some is okay, but not excessive. Now I tried this method on this Type R and there were pretty strong puffs coming out, stronger than I've felt on any car.
Is this normal with the K20 engines or is this a reason to worry? The car seemed in pretty ok shape otherwise. Fluid levels all seemed ok.
Unfortunately didnt get to test drive it yet. Theyre asking €9995 for it or €8000 without warranty. (Im from Europe)
Thanks!
