I am a proud owner of 1985 Crx, an all original and 75,000-mile single owner. I have no plans for the vehicle other than fixing some of the cosmetics such as the passenger side cracked fender, and front grill crack and putting it back on the road. I know I have an uphill road from here beings how there are literally no parts for these cars. I appreciate any help or advice that I can get.
Thx Chaz

Reason: ADDED MORE PICS
Keep it 'cause you're probably one of the few who owns one, today. For parts, your local junkyards would be the ideal place, but check it everyday. I have a 1986 Civic SI and I get all my spare parts from Pick-n-Pull. Yes, you can still find these cars in the junkyards but like I said, check their inventories, daily. Good luck.
Agree to disagree with your reply. I do love the videos you made about your 1986 Civic SI. Did you ever solve the tach issue? As an owner of a 1986 Civic SI, I try to pickup all tips and ideas on how to do repairs, etc., as I am not a professional mechanic. I don't have the tach problem your car is having so keeping my fingers crossed. Love your 1990 Civic SI, too. I have a 1991 Civic DX Hatchback, original owner too. Bought mine in November 1991 and have been driving it ever since. Now, it's not my daily drive anymore but more of a weekend toy to turn heads. I was at smog station the other day and 2 customers there were begging to buy my Civic. I get offers all the time and you probably get the same offers for your Civic. Anyways, keep EF-ing.
Since we're owners of these old cars, maybe, we can help each other. If you're looking for parts, let me know and see if I can get it from the local junkyards here and you can do the same for me. And also, repairs since you're more of a mechanic than me. Let me know.
I would be more than happy to help you along the way. I will also keep a lookout in the heaps for these cars and parts, just let me know what you are looking for. Although everything here in Az is baked literally, so finding uncracked or unfaded interior parts or exterior stuff will be a struggle.
Sure, you can sell it. There are a LOT of people out here that would love to take it off your hands. Why? Because it is a GREAT car!! I'd SUBTRACT anything that ADDvanced has to say!
With the Internet and the WEB of junk yards around the country -- and websites like this -- you can track down anything you need -- even a repair manual, which will come in handy.
Keep us posted. OH, and did I mention -- GREAT CAR, MR. LUCKY!!!!!!!
Sell it. These cars ******* suck. No support, no community, no parts; it's like they're some obscure brand that doesn't exist.

If you life in Cali, sure, maybe, but anywhere else **** these things.
What a crap attitude lol. Unless OP edited his post, he never even mentioned wanting to sell it.
Yeah, parts for EVERYTHING are getting harder to find, and our Honda community is dead (not dying). People who invest in cars like ours, or like OP's, are doing it only because THEY want to, at this point.

Damn, I agree. Seems like he is expecting everything to be handed to him on a gold platter. Half the fun is finding the parts. The other half is getting said parts to work.
I will say though, parts availability is...what parts lol. I mainly deal with 1st and 2nd tercels, and I thought those were bad to find parts for. My prelude on the other hand? Fuuuuuck lol.

If you guys are trying to restore them I don’t really know websites, maybe 1 for fenders, hoods stuff like that, but I do know 2 or three that sell coil over kits with the pan hard bar and torsion bars, and a bunch other performance parts if you guys are interested.

I am certainly interested I’ve been searching and searching but it’s honestly super hard finding good suspension parts for these cars
