Thought I had it figured out it has a ZC swap in it and they had the plugs for the purge valve and iat switched causing it to burn the q31 on the ECU got a new ECU switched the plugs and replaced the iat because it was melted car ran great yesterday took it for a test run and ran the **** out of it no issues.. this morning I went to drive to work Wich is only about 6miles and it died as I got off the freeway and would not start for about 5 min got it started made it about 500ft and it died again waited about 10min this time and it started and ran for about a mile to my work and died as I pulled into work.. I can hear the fuel pump running when I turn the key and there is fuel at the rail.. last week when it did this I had to wait about 45min each time it died before it would start again.. it cranks fine and like I said I can hear the fuel pump but it just won't fire.. anyone got any ideas?? Need to get this fixed asap as it's my daily and I don't have another car...

 

It sounds like the Ignition coil or the ICM has failed inside the distributor, You can test both the ignition coil and ICM with a multimeter. I believe B series coils and ICm are compatible to the D series as im using a B series coil in my D series distributor.
