Hello,

My honda accord has been standing for 3-4 months and battery is fully drained. I tried jump starting it but front light start blinking with consistent horn going.on . I have tried to lock unlock doors using key fob but doesnt seems to work.i also replaced battery in key fob just to be sure.

Is there a way i can.disable horn and blinking lights so that i can take it.to a shop?

That is the security system going off.

Have you tried putting in a new car battery?

 

No . I will have to go to store to get it. If there is a way i can shut it off to go and buy a battery that will help

 

Normally, using the key or the remote transmitter to unlock the driver's door should turn it off. Did you try the key?

Otherwise, disconnect the car battery negative terminal cable and get someone to help you pick up a battery. If you have AAA roadside assistance, they have batteries.
