Vague Shifter/gear engagement 94 EJ1
Looking for a good solution because the shifter feels loose and sloppy and you can't change gears quickly or it may not fully engage. Since parts are worn I'm looking at Energy suspension Shift Stabilizer bushings, SS braided clutch hose, and an improved CMC such as the K Tuned or Chase Bays unit both to reduce points of failure and improve available space in the engine bay. Also looking at the Omni Power Quicklutch CMC.
I'm weary of short throw shifters as I did that on my last Honda and it made the gear changes more precise but scraped on the exhaust mid pipe and because it was too fast for the stock hydraulics, it ate the synchros.
Bare in mind this will be a daily but have been known to change gears too fast the all stock hydraulics. Any good suggestion is highly welcome.
