I have a 2015 civic and when I idle I hear a whining sound almost (I’m convinced it’s got to do with the belt or something that runs along the belt), as of yesterday it now does it louder and faster the faster I go. Anyone have anything similar to this, or know of what could possibly by the reasoning?

 

Accessory belt tensioner or idler pulley. Kind of sounds like a supercharger whine that changes with engine revs.
