Driving home my 96 civic started ticking loud. I pulled over checked oil and it was dry. Added to quarts tick went away drove it home. Omw to work today it did it again after topping off oil and then i loss power in the throttle and it shut down now it wont start. I believe i was able to move 3 lifters by hand after removing valve cover. I need help asap?

 

Did it sound like rod knock ?

 

when you say Wont start, do you mean engine spins and but doesnt start or wont start as in you ran the car without oil now the engine is locked up
