03 Honda Civic LX, Sounds awful...
03 Honda Civic LX 2 door coupe 1.7L SOHC - 174,000 miles 😬
Recently started working on my 03 Honda, I replaced a lot on this car so far I could go over the list.. I changed all the fluids except for transmission.
It runs well like decent enough for me, it still picks up speed nicely but feels a bit sluggish and sounds like it's working hard all the time. (Does not purrrr) it growls and gurgles lol especially at idle. I took a quick video under the hood and found my engine moving a lot... so I'll be going at that next. If anyone has any advice or a trained mechanics ear what could I possibly do to make this car run smoother. Thanks (my filming skills are pretty decent)

Looks well taken care of!
Yes the engine moves excessively and you should repair the motor mount or mounts that have failed.
Yes to a drain and fill of Honda OEM DW-1 ATF. You may do another drain and fill after a drive cycle or two. Or just keep on a schedule of an ATF drain and fill every other oil change. No flushing.
Check the pulleys and components to all the drive belts to be sure there isn't any excess drag on the system. Like A/C compressor, PS pump, pulleys, tensioner etc.
Major thing to look out for in these vehicles is the breached head gasket causing lack of heat in cabin and purging of the coolant out of the coolant reservoir cap.
