First things first, Tachometer is acting 100% dead. Where do I start troubleshooting this?

Try another instrument cluster.

 

Where the F am I gonna find another one of those...

 

Got a new cluster off ebay. Same problem. WTF.

 

Do you have a factory service manual ?
I would be checking for continuity between the blue tach wire at the distributor and the signal wire at the back of the instrument cluster.

 

I tested continuitiy between the blue wire that plugs into the coil, and the harness that goes into the back of the cluster. It's fine. With a new ignitor, idk what else it could be. I guess I could try a whole new distributor? Idk where to even find one of those.

 

I am going to go insane.

 

god ******* dammit **** this ******* car no community no parts I can't even find a place to buy a distributor called auto parts stores taht said they could get them all turned up dry **** this car.
