Question about steering wheel swap
Hey all.....I'm building/modding a 99 Accord EX and I absolutely HATE the old lady steering wheel in it now. I know the wheel has 33 splines or something like that, my question is, has anyone swapped either a civic wheel (single stage, like a '01) into an Accord and if so, did the wiring harness/electronics match up? How about CL/TL from 99-03? Thanks in advance for any info.
Here's a link to a post in the forum about all the steering wheel spline sizes and what might fit.

The splines I know about, my main question is the electronics for the SRS......do you, or does anyone know, in what year and for which models, Honda switched from single stage to dual stage? Thanks.
Advanced, multi-stage, or 2 stage airbags started becoming deployed in 2003, with the law for it to be mandatory I think in 2006.
Also, I believe you can use a dual stage anyway, you just wire in one of the bags and put a resistor on the other wiring.
This person has some nice pics for guidance, although its for a different car, the idea should be the same.
