Hello car experts))
had a P0401 code so I cleaned throttle body and manifold cover??(attached to throttle body )
it was full of carbon deposit..I cleaned it real good .
However now the engine is surging from 1100 to 2200 RPM
Got a diagnostic done at car mechanic and was told something wrong in the IAC...
He told me too much air is been sucked ??
if I disconnect the IAC I have a code p1519 ..meaning the IAC is working right ?
any one knowledgeable about this situation?

Sounds to me like a vacuum leak was uncovered with the cleaning. Or you may have left a vacuum hose off.
