Hi guys, I recently purchased a 1998 Honda Accord lx 3.0l v6 and was wanting to get advice from more knowledgeable people. I’m wanting to make more horsepower out of what I’ve got. A bit of a budget build, but I just purchased an injen cold air intake. I’m wanting to get it close to 300hp without forced induction. I live in California so emissions is an issue.

 

I dont think youll be able to break 250 to the wheels with SMOG (assuming manual transmission). Intake might be a couple hp at the most.

Like any most any NA engine, headers and tuning is the main thing that makes power, and thats exactly what you cant do in CA.
