Can I swap the guts of a EBay remote into the OEM remote
OEM remote doesn't seem to be working anymore, even with a new battery.
If I buy a knockoff one from Ebay and swap just the internals, would it still fit? https://www.ebay.com/itm/313111106597

I don’t believe so.
I tried the same thing in April when I got my ES2. I found a fob in the junkyard, used that for a bit, then the eBay one came in the mail. Tried to swap the plastics, it’s a completely different circuit board with different dimensions.
