Hello there. I’ve got a 1999 Honda Civic with 117K miles...the engine makes a rattling noise. It is not rattling in idle and the noise goes away after I switch to second gear. It is only present in first gear. What is this noise and what should I change? The noise is coming from the engine bay and I don’t think it’s a big end bearing. I can show a video too if you’d like.

I don’t get how this is supposed to help??? Lol. It’s just a thread that validates your reputation. Do you know the specific issue with my car? I’ll buy the part from you if you know what the issue is...and if it’s offered at a reasonable price. I’m also in California.
