Couple questions on Honda sensor and plug types
Getting ready to install a Holley terminator x (I know, oddball for Honda application) in my turbo b16a powered dc chassis integra. Trying to verify sensor types. The tps will need to be a 3 wire 0-5v sensor, I think that ones good to go.coolant and iat need to be 2 wire thermistor type, did these cars have factory fuel pressure sensors? Going to need 0-5v transducer type. Going to need a 4 wire stepper type or a 2 wire pwm iac, don’t Honda’s have 5 wires? Also what style plugs and pins were used? The Holley harness is really geared towards gm lsx type connectors, I think a deutch model. If the tps and iac aren’t compatible I will likely mAke an adapter to use a gen 3 lsx 3 bolt 70mm throttle body. Any info is Appreciated
So it looks like the sensors should be compatible. Anybody know what the plug connector manufacturer/model and pin type would be found on a 98 integra engine harness.
Engine bay side is mostly Sumitomo connectors. Mainly HW sealed, HX sealed series. https://www.corsa-technic.com/ is my go-to for Honda connectors. Start looking at what you already have and match them up to the pics, once you get a feel for what you are looking at it will go quickly. They also have the factory style ring terminals for the grounds and all kinds of other good stuff. Obviously your aftermarket fuel injectors, lambda sensor, knock, and all of that stuff will be non-Honda and you'll need to educate yourself on that on your own.
You can also buy complete connector sets from places like https://racespeconline.com/ but it isn't necessarily a great value and you lose a little bit of control with what injector connectors, etc, you can get with those packages.
These cars do not have factory fuel, oil, or water pressure sensors. I personally use the Bosch PST-F 1 combined pressure/temp sensor for fuel and oil. You can find it as a factory sensor on some late model Mazdas for ~$70 or seek it out as a motorsport sensor for ~$200.
I've never seen a 5-wire IACV on anything, Honda or otherwise. Your B16A should be a 2-wire. It's a pretty 'dumb' device with no sensor of any kind on it, just a solenoid attached to a valve.
