(Regarding head bolts) Yet another turbocharged f22
Howdy, so I’ve been wanting to turbo this car for a bit now and I’m new to tearing down and rebuilding motors. I was wondering if anyone out there was able to find head bolts (not studs) for the f22b2 engine platform. And I know this next question is stupid but, if not can you install head studs without separating the head of the body?
thank you guys for all your help 😅

Head bolts for the F22 engine are readily available at most of the usual places. They are just typical OEM replacements though.
Head studs are the performance option and available from ARP. And no, you cannot install the studs without removing the head. For a proper seal(especially with an old OEM engine that has a 25+ year old head gasket), you need to clean the surfaces and replace the gasket when you install the studs. Otherwise you are just better off leaving the stock head bolts and gasket in place. Do it right or do it twice.
Generally for 300whp or less, head studs are not required anyway. That's typically where I recommend stopping on a stock bottom end engine as beyond that is a big gamble with reliability.
