Default Temperature sensor question

I ordered 1 temperature sensor from RockAuto and it came with a metal Oring not a rubber one. Is this incorrect or is it for the lower temp sensor? I believe the top one has a rubber oring but I could see the radiator one having a metal oring. Any idea?

ECT2 in the radiator has been an o-ring on every Honda I have played with. Probably seal just fine with the metal crush washer.

I haven’t found an application where it describes using a crush washer rather than a rubber oring.. I’m wondering why they would send it with the crush washer rather than the rubber oring
