Help with b18c1 swapped del sol , no crank condition
I need help with suggestions on hunting down the phantom single click
So far the battery, cables, starter , and main relay are all new and tested . And current grounds have all been cleaned .
I have power to accessories and lights dont dim when starting , fuel pump primes . Fuses all appear to work and arent blown or corroded. I have also inspected the clutch safety switches for the plastic button but not electrical failure .Engine wont crank .
Any suggestions or experience is helpful
Im about to start using a multimeter to check around the bay . Perhaps bad ignition ? Or faulty ground . I have ruled out compression as the engine ran strong before it was parked for a few months
Hellp.

can you push start the car? Not push button start but literally push the car and start it? If so, it's the BUMP STOP at the clutch pedal. If NOT, ignition coil maybe bad.
ignition control module is another likely suspect.

coil and icm will bite it eventually so be ready with parts and tools.
delphi icm and ngk coil from rockauto are my setup.

Yeah . I may have to try that .
As far as I know I've had icm and ignitors go bad but my car still cranked . Starter isn't engaging .
Ignition switch was good when I checked it . I haven't tried jumping the clutch switches tho . I also located a clicking relay that may be mcguivered and related to starter .
Also the car is turboed . Not sure if that's going to make pop starting harder
Edit fixed . Arcing negative ground from battery relocated and sanded . Also negative wasn't hooked to solenoid, and a false bench test from old starter . . Check your wires people !!!!!
