Hi,

I am having a strange hesitation/stutter issue with my B18B3 EG. The hesitation only occurs at low throttle (+-10%) in any gear or at any RPM. As soon as the amount of throttle is increased, the engine runs perfectly. I have noticed that the idle is also a little jumpy since this issue began a couple days ago.

I had the exact same issue when I got the car 6 months ago. Back then I cleaned out the throttle body and replaced the spark plugs and the car had been running perfect since. I changed the plugs yesterday and noticed that plugs 2 and 3 had some oil on them so I thought they were fouled. I was confident that new plugs would solve the issue but no luck and the issue remains.

Does anyone have any recommendations of what to look at next? I am planning to replace the plug leads and distributor cap and rotor next.

Solved - The wires going into the MAP sensor connector weren't happy.
