Default Low Idle when Return line changed.

I changed the Fuel return line with a 1/4 rubber hose. After I changed it, the fuel tank started to leak gas. Few days later the idle speed is almost at 0 when I come to a stop. I also change the fuel filter to see if it would help but it didn’t. As far as I know there are no vacuum leaks. Any other suggestions I can go through? Please and thank you.
