Good evening. I bought a 1998 civic DX. Only the highest fan speeds worked. I changed the blower resistor in my 92 integra years ago and it worked. So I did the same thing. Bought a brand new one and tried to install it. Funny thing was I bought the wrong one. I bought the one with the springs because that's what that year called for. I went to remove it and it was different. You couldn't remove from the top like the other one. You had to remove the blower to get to it. I installed it and it didn't fix anything. I'm scratching my head. Anyone have any ideas?

This is the resistor that was in my car. I replaced with a new one.
