URGENT! How to disable car OTHER THAN disconnecting battery or pulling fuse?
Usual ways of disabling are ok unless your alcoholic husband knows this trick because you tried to save his life once or twice. .Any other ways of disabling my car that will go unnoticed by a someone that will check the battery and fuses? He wont check past that...maybe disconnect a connector or something going to ignition or fuel pump?. He is planning on driving my 99 Honda Civic to work tomorrow morning knowing its not getting coolant to the engine! He just blew his truck engine 2 wks ago because it was out of oil. My car was stalling and having electrical issues. Had the Honda place put a new ignition switch which fixed the stalling but not the fan. He drove it like that for the last week even after I told him I smelled antifreeze.Turns out its spewing antifreeze out of the resevoir now and water coming out exhaust pupe. I know. I know. Head gasket but it still starts and its not sitting on the road dead yet.
How about unplugging the engine harness where it meets the chassis harness on the driver's side between the shock tower and the firewall... near the clutch master cylinder reservoir. Separate the plug partially without fully parting the two pieces of the plug so it "appears" to be plugged in... this severs power to many components on the engine and it will not start. The check engine light will come on after multiple starting attempts.
