Brake light
I have a 93 Honda Civic EX the passenger side brake light is not working in the trunk lid and the bulb is not blown do I have to replace the whole assembly in the trunk lid?
Probably a problem with wiring or connector, which may just require repair of the wiring or replacement of a connector. Do you having a voltmeter or some other testing equipment?
Is this a coupe, hatch, or sedan? The brake light circuit wiring are slightly different between the three.

Remove the bulb and look inside of the socket. Check to see if the two round terminals are in good shape. 92-95 Civic brake lights use 2057 bulbs, which have two terminals; one for brake + and one for tail light +. The brake light terminal in the socket tends to heat up and melt into the plastic that holds it in place. This will disconnect it from the bulb's terminal and make it no longer work. If this is your issue you may be able to clean the terminal with sandpaper and get it to connect again. If the terminal is too far in the plastic then you can just pull the old socket out, push a good socket in, and solder the wires in. No need to replace the entire brake and reverse light assembly, the socket can be removed.
