Default 2006 Honda CR-V Black Death?

What’s the easier way to identify if the crv has the “Black Death”? I bought a crv and the ac doesn’t work, however, there’s still some refrigerant in the system.

The system will blow warm air when AC activated and possibly make weird noises from the compressor area

So far, for what I can see is that the compressor is seized. I removed the serpentine belt, and the clutch pulley spins freely, but I have not tested the voltage of it. Sadly I don’t have the tools for it

Sounds like a bad compressor, the whole system could be contaminated. You can get a smaller belt if you want to bypass the compressor
