Default Valve guide damage

Hey guys I need help, I know I should replace them but im strapped for cash right now and I dont have the know how to do it myself but my valve guides are damaged, im swapping in a b16a into a eh9 and the top of the valve guides are kinda rough, I just need to know if the new valve guide seal will seat properly and not burn all my oil

Thanks

The seals will probably seal just fine. However if those guides are worn they will start leaking again almost immediately.

Ok cool, do you know how I could check how worn they are? Or point me in the right direction? Also just to be clear if they're not worn they most likely won't burn oil right??

Thanks

The service manual has the procedure. More or less insert valve without the seal installed. Raise it about 1cm off the seat and see if the valve wiggles in the guide. If there is wiggle they are shot. You can get more technical and measure the amount of wiggle but the service limit is essentially no wiggle.
