So I ended up getting a parts car for my 04 em2 bought a 05 now my key is broke so I can’t put a ring on it and it’s kind of annoying and easy to loose plus it’s not the right key for the doors but is the trunk, now with the 05 the key works on all doors and trunk so what I’m wondering is if I swap the columns do I have to get a key reprogrammed or do I just do the swap or do I need to replace the pcm with that

 

You xan swap the collum but it would be easier to have your ecu flashed to the new key. If you can get the car started take it down to your closest honda dealer. It's like 65 bucks to have it programmed
