Hondata for ECU
Go-Autoworks for everything else

Would not advise going over ~230whp on stock D series internals.

The top end has been rebuilt. Once already but it's pretty much stock still. I'm looking at doing internals, upgraded cam, pistons, rings, heads, rods, valves.
I would like to know if I can switch the cam to a vtech or if it's going to be more of a pain in the *** than it's worth.

If you’re going turbo, then don’t spend the money upgrading a D series cam until you are near 400hp.
Your engine should handle 220 plus wheel horsepower stock, then above that you’ll want forged pistons and connecting rods. You’re better off putting your money into other things than a cam.
How much horsepower you want to achieve is what you should decide on first.

You said you have a D16Y8...that should already have a VTEC head on it.

I agree with other suggestions - decide on a power goal and your budget to work with first. Go-Autoworks for the turbo kit. Hondata for the ECU. Spend money on the bottom end upgrade/refresh first, fuel and ECU next, then transmission, then the turbo kit.

Thanks fellas going out of town for about a month for work putting it into he shop to have my issues with it fixed I'll have the bottom end redone while it's in the shop this time, my goal is between 275-300 whp however, I live in a semi rural area so back roads are going to be my main goal. I like cruising the back roads. So adjustable coil overs, control arms ect, also like to do disks on the rear instead of the drums.
