Default 88 EF Y8 swap motor mount question?!?!?!?

So I put the Y8 in my EF. I got both side mounts they went in as easy as they are supposed to. Shell came with eBay traction bar. But the trans mount I can’t get to line up. The metal bracket thing is like a inch off from both bolt holes. Is this wrong mount or the bracket (doesn’t appear to be bent).

if any one has some input that is constructive I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanx homies

Have you tried using a bigger pry bar? It looks to be within the realm of pry-to-fit. The side mounts aren't tightened up are they? And that rear mount... it's not from an automatic is it - I think they're different.

That’s funny you say that I originally had the auto mount there it’s the exact same just just reversed the tab is on the other side. I mean maybe but it just seems “wrong” like the angle. I mean it def needs and does rock forward but that doesn’t account for the bolt holes being off. And yes both side mounts are torqued

I would try loosening the side mounts and front mount while supporting the engine. Use a pry bar against the engine and chassis to get the rear mount to line up with the holes. It's still a D series engine so should fit anyways. You're using the 88-91 trans, right?

Front mount isn’t there the eBay traction bar doesn’t have a spot for it. The engine def rocks back and forth. The pry bar thing is what I first tried. I can always try again. Just seems like it would be crooked. Idk your guess is as good as mine the bracket will line up with the mount. Just the mount is in between the holes for mounting the mount.
