Just wondering who is still around from the early 2000s and who still has their car?

Mine is 2000 ITR PY #858. Just took it to the track on the weekend!
Still running great with 65,000 kms on the odo

I've been in the local honda scene since 2002, bought my first ITR last year. Located in the lower mainland, wanting to do a track day at Area 27 this year.

 

Do we have to be Canadian to post? JK. Was thinking of selling the ITR last year, but have decided to keep it. Still on here from time to time.

 

Still here looking around every now and then. Built another CW 2000 EK

 

I'm new here but have been a Honda Tweaker since 1999, currently have a 1996 JDM ITR, full spoon build just completed!

 

I had a 2000 Phoenix Yellow (Socal) and I attended the Buttonwillow ITR meet the first year I believe. Back in those days Esteban Gonzalez and Yoshi were among the guys that made that meet happen. Good times.
I sold mine to a guy from New Mexico if I remember correct. My memory is a little foggy but i think i had #679

Was bored today at work and just saw this post. Haven't visited HT in forever. Yes I still have my R. She's at 60k currently. Wish I had time to track again.

 

I'm too poor to own another one. My Audis are cheaper at this point

Although I did just get another CRX.

 

Miss the R community. Wonder where my 97 is now. I saw a few years ago someone posted a pic of it on a track.

I had sold it originally to DaveB I think.

I tried searching the vin on here but couldn't find it

 

 

According to my Facebook feed, that is from 2011. It wasn't that hard to have a good couple of days at a sparsely populated track in the summer.

Hard to avoid heat soak later in the afternoon, of course.

I can tell the cars were not in their final form because the last try front spoilers are not installed.

 

It could be worse. I am driving a Bolt EV, and a very basic one at that. :-)

It costs almost nothing to drive.

It's about .02 per mile.

I'm OG'ish... didn't own an ITR back in the day, but I always frequented this board and always dreamt of owning one. Finally purchased an ITR two years ago before the prices took off. Glad I did and now I will hold on to it for a while.

I saw an unmodified, but hardly pristine DC2 ITR fetch $40K just a few days ago.

 

Yup!

I saw a stock CRX in decent shape go for $20k....To have a time machine.

 

Those were times when Honda could do no wrong, basically. I admit the times are worth re-living and preserving but it seems awfully expensive. :-)

 

Still around although she doesn't get driven much. Had to put her back on the battery tender the other day because she wouldn't start.
