so im an idiot an bought a crx that had recieved a motor swap and now im trying to replace the axle/s the motor was swapped to a d15b2 i have no idea why but it was so i have a 91 crx hf with a d15b2 and a 5 spd but i cant tell how to tell what trans it has or which goddamn axle /s to get and ive been without a car for over 2 weeks now because this is my only functioning means of transportation so how can i tell which cv axle to buy so i can be mobile again?

 

the hf had a smaller hub, smaller axle, so it was all unique for less weight.

they CAN be swapped. so if the motor was swapped, the axles and hubs/spindle MAY have been swapped to a more common axle.

count the number of splines on the axle or hub. 26 is "normal, 23 is HF.

its 26 but every 26 spline axle ive tried has been too dang short by an inch or better

 

what is embossed on the side of your steering knuckle?
DX/Si/HF knuckles would have RH3-H or LH3-H
