So I put 97 prelude tranny in my 96 accord. Everything went well. Just having problems with drivers side axle. The small part was already attached to the tranny. I removed it to put the axle in and my axle is as u can see is different then that. I dont know much about it
I've heard of people doing this, although I had heard you could use a Prelude on the passengers side, you had to use an Accord axle on the drivers side. Multiple reasons, I thought the length was wrong and the input shaft was also wrong.
So, I have no answer except "yep" that doesn't fit.

If I can ask, why not just use the accord axle?
the hole that axle goes into the tranny is bigger then the accord axle. And if I have that little piece that fits in tranny on it then the axle be to long
So does is prelude half shaft shorter then accord? Or is the diameter bigger where it goes in to the transmission.
anyways thank you everyone for the replies. I just have to get prelude half shaft then.
