Belt doesn't fit?? Confused
I'm trying to replace the belt on my 06 honda civic but I noticed that the one I took off had "6 rid/lines", where the new one I bought has "7 lines". I noticed that the new one doesn't fit the "crankshaft pulley" properly, is 1 line too big. Im confused here, why is my older belt 1 line shorter?? And why only my crankshaft has 6 lines, compared to my ac compressor, and alternator that have 7...
Any thoughts, tips, comments? What can I do? I need a new belt
