Default Revving out 35000 RPM

I just bought a 2001 Honda replace the crankshaft sensor and it's only revving out at 35000 RPM you replace the crankshaft sensor I replace the timing chain and water pump is still having the same problem I do not have a timing sensor solenoid it's supposed to be a 1.7 L motor I believe it's in limp mode the codes that is throwing on the check engine light is saying it's the crankshaft sensor still can anyone help me with this issue I've checked the oil it was low I added some but it's still limping out

Use an OEM Honda crankshaft sensor. Common advice when changing out the timing belt (not chain) is to unbolt and not disconnect the CKS because you risk getting coolant in the harness or sensor and this causes these issues.

I think you mean 3,500 RPMs.

Damn Speed Racer, last time I heard the engine in the Mach 5 was only reving to 20,000 RPM. What did you do to get it to 35,000 RPM this time?
