Hi, I am new to this forum. I own a 2009 Honda Fit. I am recently experiencing problems with miss fires. It happens when I first take off to drive. The check engine light comes on and the vehicle loses power.
If I let the car sit and idle for about fifteen minutes before I take off, it runs fine. I changed all four spark plugs, cleared the CEL. It stayed off for a few day of normal driving, then on again. I also changed all four coil packs, cleared the CEL. After a few days it came on again. It puzzles me that if I warm the car up before driving, it works fine. No CEL. The only time it comes on is when I first take off without warming the engine. I will try changing the egr valve and the pvc valve to see if that makes a difference. I forgot to mention that it has over 150 k mileage on it.
