I’m going to preface this by stating I absolutely hate wiring. Quite possibly my least favorite thing to do. But I just picked up an 04 base DC5 and the previous owner had installed HIDs and cheap aftermarket headlights but not well. I’m talking ballasts just jammed wherever they could fit, I see a lot of butt connectors but no heat shrink, things are unplugged and it’s pretty much a mess. My driver’s side light won’t even turn on.

is it possible to just buy the headlight wiring harness or is that tied into a major harness. I do have some old connectors in the hatch that he gave me with the car so assuming that they are right I could try to put it all back together, but I don’t know how much it was hacked up. I did find a good set of headlights local, and a few cars in yards a couple hours away I can pull parts from so if it’s easier to swap harnesses I’ll probably just make that trip and try to pull one
