Honda transmission replacement at 75k?
Hello,
I'm wondering if folks with more car experience think this makes sense. I take my car in for all my maintenance but am not especially savvy in maintenance and follow the dealer recommendations. We did a 30k tune including transmission fluid exchange. At 59,850 miles we went in and no service recommendations were made for transmission bot at the dealer. took to another place at 68 for oil change then at 74k our transmission is recommended for replacement.
First 45k gap ... Should a transmission break that easily?
Second...shouldnt the dealer that we purchased this from have made a recommendation for this maintenance?
Thanks in advanced!

Just very surprised a transmission would go so at lower miles especially a honda.
Do the CVT fluid flush and see if it improves. That means changing the CVT fluid 3 times in a row. Change it, drive it 5-10 miles, change it, repeat. The Honda CVT is VERY sensitive about fluid. Use ONLY Honda CVT fluid for your changes.
