I've been trying to find what is the source of this problem from changing the gas cap, buying a new purge valve solenoid, and checking on the hoses. I'm not sure why it keeps popping up every 2 weeks of driving when I erase the code. Any advise or clues? Has anybody fixed this code? Any advice or help is much appreciated! Thank you!

Yes sir! fresh egr ports got them all cleaned up! But I still get the code.

P1459 is EVAP Purge Flow Switch malfunction.

Possible causes can be:

• EVAP Purge flow switch
• EVAP Purge flow switch circuit
• Vacuum lines
• ECM

The part is discontinued. Diagnostic tests are shown below. The related vacuum lines are shown in the parts diagram.
