Default EF Rear disc conversion

So the question I have is this:

I have an EF sedan and everyone says DA Cables are needed. Not a problem as I understand DA Integra is 1990 to 1993. The problem came at the parts house. The hatchback cables are 2 inches shorter than the Sedan Integra. Does DA specifically mean one or the other? Does it even matter? It may not seem like a lot but I know all about 2 inches... and it’s longer than you think😂😂😂

Lots of people lump all 90-93 body styles together as DA's.

Same goes for the 94-01 integras all being called DC's.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...ake+cable,1696

You can see the different cable lengths here if you click "INFO" on the different parts. The sedan is definitely two inches longer.

FYI, cables are the same 90-01. The only difference will be between sedan vs hatchback. I used DC Integra cables on my hatchback.

I hope that helps out!

Will the 2 inches matter? Since I drive an EF sedan should I get the cables that are 2 inches longer?

It would be better to have them 2 inches longer, as opposed to 2 inches shorter. The way they are routed there should be space to take up the slack. Personally I'd go with those and if they really are too long when it comes time to install them, return them and get the shorter ones.

Yes exactly. If they end up being too long, you can just route the "left" cable to the right side and vice versa.
