Hey I was wondering if I could swap a 94 - 2001 Integra master cylinder from k tuned to my Honda prelude 2000? The oem one went out from me driving hard on it and I want an after market one that can handle the abuse. Also wanted to know what stage 2 clutch I should get and the different rating for them cause I still don’t understand the rating. I am thinking of just having it NA for awhile until I could afford ITBs. And also when I want to replaced the rear main seal. Could I put RTV around the seal so it doesn’t go out easily as most of them do.

 

You didn't kill the OEM master from driving hard on it. These things have a finite lifespan, and you reached the end of yours. Get a quality (Prelude) replacement and move on. Parts rated by "states" are marketing gimmicks sold to people who don't know any better. As far as the rear main seal goes, the service manual makes no mention of using RTV. I wouldn't, just make sure you drive it in square.

 

Well I jsut don’t wanna keep buy oem ones. I just want something that can handle the beating because I do a lot rev matching and heel toe.

 

I endurance race, nearly 100 hours at this point on the new in 1994 master cylinder. No problems.
